Principal & Director

Yoni Stein is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of combined experience in accounting, corporate governance, and banking. Prior to establishing Yoni Stein & Co, Yoni served as a Director and Company Secretary of a publicly listed company in Australia and spent 15 years in the banking sector.

Yoni is a trusted adviser to high net worth individuals and business leaders, providing high-level strategic advice that integrates accounting, tax structuring, planning, and long-term business strategy. His holistic approach ensures clients receive comprehensive, tailored guidance—many of whom have been with the firm since its inception.

In addition to his client advisory work, Yoni is deeply committed to the professional growth of the firm’s team. He plays an active role in mentoring, training, and fostering ongoing professional development to ensure the firm upholds the highest standards of service and technical expertise.

Administrator

Ruth has been instrumental in driving the ongoing success and growth of the firm. Her exceptional skill set, genuine passion for her work, and creative approach have contributed significantly to the development and expansion of our business.

Ruth is a highly effective organiser with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Her ability to coordinate complex tasks, manage competing priorities, and support both clients and team members makes her a valued and trusted member of our team.

Senior Accountant

Xin is an experienced accountant who joined Yoni Stein & Co in 2018. She brings a strong technical foundation in financial accounting and specialises in effective tax structuring and planning for a wide range of entities, including companies, trusts, partnerships, super fund, charities, and individuals.

Xin holds a Bachelor of Human Resource Management and a Master of Professional Accounting. Her well-rounded educational background supports her holistic approach to client service and business improvement. Dedicated to delivering value beyond compliance, Xin is passionate about advocating for her clients and helping them enhance their accounting systems and business operations. She is also a certified Xero Advisor, with expertise in cloud-based solutions that streamline financial management and reporting.

Senior Accountant

Cathy is an experienced accountant who joined Yoni Stein & Co in 2019. She provides comprehensive accounting and taxation services to small and medium enterprises, with a strong focus on strategic planning and tailored business advice.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced), equipping her with both analytical insight and practical expertise. She is committed to helping clients navigate complex financial environments and achieve sustainable growth.

A certified Xero Advisor, Cathy leverages cloud-based accounting tools to improve efficiency and support real-time financial decision-making.
